Nag Tibba Summit
Nag Tibba peak is the highest peak of its range which falls under the lesser Himalayas of the Garhwal region. The summit is an elevation of 9920 ft. from here you see between 180 degrees to 270 degrees of Himalayan mountain and valley views. Mt. Changbang, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Srikanth, Kala Nag, Swargarohini and Bandarpunch peaks can be seen from here. You may be greeted by a warming sunrise if you start early to summit this peak.
Nag Tibba base is situated approximately 2 km below the peak. There is a Nag Devta Temple at the base from which the Nag Tibba connotes its name. Local villagers make offerings to the deity in this temple in order to seek prosperity. There are several Nag Temples in the Mussoorie region.

Tour Plan
Day 1
Dehradun to Pantwari, Trek to Nag Tibba Basecamp
At 7:00 AM, we'll pick you up from Prince Chowk in Dehradun. It is a 100-kilometre drive from Dehradun to Pantwari. Meals will be served after we reach Pantwari. Prepare for the trek to Base Camp after that. This involves a 4 km hike to the base camp. Dinner followed by rest at the campsite.
Day 2
Basecamp to Summit and Return to Dehradun
There will be a brief wake-up call in the early morning before leaving for the Summit around 4 AM. The distance from Basecamp to Nag Tibba Summit is 3 Km. After lunch at basecamp, we'll trek down to Pantwari and drive back to Dehradun.
Basecamp
Pantwari village near Mussoorie is the base of Nag Tibba trek. It is 100 kilometres from Dehradun and 140 kilometres from Rishikesh. There are few restaurants, hotels and homestays for overnight stay. The nearest Railway Station is in Dehradun. You will cross Mussoorie, Kempty Falls and Nainbagh while driving.

Nag Tibba is a relatively low-risk and safest weekend trek. The only steep section is about a half-kilometre before the summit on Day 2. It will slow your ascent. On Day 1, you will gain nearly 2900 feet of elevation in the first 5 kilometres of the trek. This will take a lot of effort. Once you arrive at the campsite, make sure you get 7-8 hours of sleep. If you do running, cycling and cardiovascular exercises on regular basis. This will just be a short hike for you. Make sure you are carrying essential trekking gear and medicine according to the season of the year.
